I'm Great is a project that was born in October of 2015 by the students of class 4 at the High School 'Giovanni Gandini' of Lodi, coordinated by Professor of Design and Art History Paolo Egidio House, and with the contribution of web developing Davide Avanzi, former student of Gandini, currently registered in the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano.
During the visit to the Festival of Photography and Ethics. 2015 meeting with the photo 'Mare Nostrum' Massimo Sestini has opened a new perspective on the emergence of migrants. And 'it born at this point the idea of an app to facilitate the acceptance and inclusion of migrants. In March 2016 I'm Great, which is an anagram of the English 'migrated' verb, participates in the tender 'Meet no neet' 2016, organized by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Microsoft, and won the 1st prize. The project is selected by the City of Lodi for a path of development and youth entrepreneurship digital acceleration held at the Parco Tecnologico Padano, within the project Future Open. In December 2016 the boys participate in the final of the 'Call4Ideas' notice at the Parco Tecnologico Padano.
The app I'M GREAT was designed as an innovative IT tool to guide foreign nationals on services dedicated to them active in the Province of Lodi.
Since July 2017, thanks to the project S.P.Q.R. Service More Qualified Network, funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration 2014 - 2020 and the European Union, the APP created by the students of Liceo Scientifico G. Gandini was implemented and developed in collaboration of the Movement Fighting World Hunger (www .mlfm.it), which handled the contents.
The APP is structured to provide information on the living and integrate the Lodigiano territory, with the aim to standardize the information about the different services.
