Beacon is a utility that allows tracking the GPS position of a device in Kartasto app. Note that to use this app you must pair it with a Kartasto app installed on another device.
Simply pair Beacon with your Kartasto app, and then activate GPS tracking to follow its location on the map. Kartasto can monitor multiple Beacons simultaneously.
Pairing happens automatically over BLE or by reading a QR code. Sending location data from Beacon requires a network connection, such as a SIM card with a data plan.
This app collects location data to enable you to see this device's GPS position in Kartasto even when the app is closed or not in use. Allow access to your location all the time to allow tracking also while screen is locked. Location updates are sent to a paired Kartasto app. Location data is not stored on the server.
