The Casus Belli agency has quickly associated with this exciting project and enrolled in this.
Its principle: in contact with authors, digital designers and research team, enabling readers and fans of comics to imagine new uses digital playback and mixing paper.
This approach "Living Lab" based on principles of co-creation and experimentation in real size, driven by societal challenges, economic, health, cultural or environmental. It is a method where citizens, customers, consumers, residents, public ... are seen as key players in research and innovation processes. A Living Lab project claims to allow a population to influence developments in our society and to understand the social, cultural and economic issues.
Over the many workshops that have marked the year 2015, a concept of "connected blanket" has emerged. Its principle: integrate NFC chips into a book cover or a jacket, allowing the contents to be issued increased by you via your smartphone.
Anxious to give substance to this concept, the Lower Normandy Region has chosen to support prototyping and manufacturing this "connected blanket". The agency Casus Belli, the collective GOBO and science Relais then met at the House of Research and Caen Imagination to achieve together the third issue of the journal Gobo.
Conceived and created in one day, during an immersive workshop attended by all contributors, this review is a first attempt, primarily poetic, explore some of the potential of this "connected blanket".
