The Grassland Seed Mix Calculator is an app that lets you:
• calculate the population of your meadow from the seeding doses of the different species expressed in kg/ha;
• calculate the sowing doses in kg/ha of the different species in the mixture, starting from the proportion of each plant desired for your meadow.

Stand Calculation:
The bags of seed mixtures must include the percentage by weight of the mixture of the different species. As each species has a different Thousand Grain Weight (TMW), the calculator allows you to determine the percentage of each species in "number of seeds" in your mixture and therefore the theoretical population of your meadow. Note: Seed emergence depends on the pedo-climatic conditions of your meadow. The actual stand may therefore be different from the theoretical stand.
Composition of the mixture:
The composition of the mixture you must sow to reach your theoretical target is expressed in percentage of the weight of each species in the mixture and in sowing density of each species.
Note: This is theoretical population. Depending on the emergence of the different seeds, in your pedo-climatic conditions, the population of your meadow may be different.
