MotAPs

MotAPs is a set of serious games for the assessment and stimulation of motivation disorders (or apathy).

MotAPs is intended for healthcare professionals working with people with disorders of which lack of motivation is a symptom.

It aims to help healthcare professionals assess and / or stimulate these disorders, in addition to standard clinical practice.

Motivation is what drives us to act! Motivation is one of the components allowing an individual to have goal-directed behaviors to be adapted and autonomous in his environment.
Apathy is defined as a persistent lack of motivation. Apathy is the most common behavioral disorder in many brain conditions. It is important to assess apathy but also to find solutions to help, stimulate, motivate!

The scalable applications of MotAPs offer:
- classic instruments to assess motivation disorders: self-assessment, diagnostic criteria;
- applications for objectively evaluating certain aspects of motivation: "games of interest" and "swimming pool";
- applications to stimulate people with motivation disorders: "ASAP" and "Mnemotherapy".
