HeatNotes is an application that allows both to characterize the thermal stress suffered by animals and to propose the risk management program related to this stress.
HeatNotes allows the calculation of the THI (Temperature Humidity Index), automatic on the basis of meteorological data or manual directly in breeding, to evaluate the risk of heat stress suffered by animals. The application also provides access to short-term forecasts. A specific module is used to define a complementation program to control the risk of heat stress and to edit the recommendations and the risk management program.
