FreeFall simulates free falls on Earth, the moon, and Mars. Input your weight(in pounds or kilograms), and your initial height from the ground(in ft or m), and FreeFall will tell you:
1: The time it takes to hit the ground(in seconds).
2: The speed at which you will hit the ground(in ft/s ; mi/hr ; m/s ; km/hr).
3: Your kinetic energy when you hit the ground(in Joules).
4: Your initial gravitational potential energy(in Joules).
5: Your force(in newtons).
6. And your power when you hit the ground(in watts).
Notice that the Initial Gravitational Potential Energy and the Final Kinetic Energy are the same?
It is a great illustration of the conservation on energy: Initial Energy = Final Energy
There will be more statistics and planets in future releases.
Please rate and comment, We would like to know what you think.
