The PAFEFS is a project implemented by the Management Information Systems and Business Intelligence of the University of Patras and sponsored by the Ministry of Health through the action of "Human Resources" NSRF 2007-2013.

The system enables incident registration that requires intervention and enrichment of the knowledge base with case registration. Additionally, it offers the opportunity to review the proposed interventions and an early diagnosis in the form of specially designed and custom questions.
The project is the specialized support for families and those involved with people with autism. The project will make it possible to develop individualized care providers (and diagnostic) people of different ages and types of autism, through:
A) One Model Support System for Persons with Autism (PSYA) which will be proposed for implementation at national level. The system will be based on the existence Structures Hostels Autism as semi-independent living (XID) 5-10 persons and day centers (KH) 8-12 people.
B) An Intelligent System Support people with autism (ESYA) to support, in the form of automatic delivery of information to those associated with people with autism.
Another aspect of the system is to provide an initial diagnosis expert system that will contribute to the early identification of autism cases.
For the development, piloting and improving these three systems was used in controlled environment and personnel structures obtained from three clubs / organizations active in the field of autism and who were following an open invitation to the contractor.
The development of the three systems follows a series of communication activities and dissemination of results on a nationwide scale.
Through these actions intended, among others, finding bodies / associations / parents / other stakeholders associated with autism and will declare interest for the pilot implementation of the system's capabilities.
Through this process will result in a nationwide pilot that will provide the opportunity to further improve and finalize the system.
