This application is the Faculty Member of Ege University Faculty of Education Special Education Teaching Assoc. It was developed by Ümit ŞAHBAZ and his students Aysen ÖZEN, Büşra SEVER DOĞAN, Gülizar KURTARAN within the scope of Special Education Instructional Technologies and Material Design course and computer support was provided by Ali DOĞAN.
The purpose of the application is to allow students affected by disability to read stories and do activities like their typical developing peers.
A) Children who show typical development can read from the computer, tablet or mobile phone by reading the barcode of the story from the application they downloaded on their mobile phones, if they want to listen to the story while reading this story book.
B) Children with visual impairments can follow the story from the braille part of the book reserved for them while listening to the story.
C) Children with hearing impairment can also follow the translation in sign language while reading the book.
In addition, all students, especially learning disabilities, attention deficit, gifted students, can benefit from the application.
