The Assembly of God Church of Rio de Janeiro was inaugurated on March 24, 2002 in the Jacaré neighborhood. There, important activities were developed, such as Social Work, Sunday School, Seminar, Literacy Course and many others.
In a short time the church already had a group formed by the sisters of the Prayer Service, while musician brothers joined the church and in a short time an Orchestra was formed.
Over the months, the church prayed and God gave us a property where the time for the Assembly of God in Rio de Janeiro is today, at Rua São Luiz Gonzaga, 1743 in the Benfica neighborhood.
In fact, the Lord has done great things for us, and that is why we are happy ...
And like those who ‘’ dream ’’. (Psalm 126)
