The Veterinary and Food Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatian keeps official records of the Register of pets (Lysacan) which contains basic information about the dogs (the number of the microchip, the number of books, information on vaccination, owner information), cats and ferrets that have been vaccinated against rabies .
