The Self-app complements the ethnographic collection of the Balaton Museum of Keszthely as an interactive tool. The selfie virtually dresses the user in a contemporary folk costume, helping playfully with experience. The resulting image fits the user's face into a contemporary lifestyle, traveling back in time.
How this app works:
- select target image: user can choose from two pre-set images (target image) (female wear, shepherd wear)
- selfie: using the front camera of the external device, the user takes a photo of himself / herself
- app dims the photo into the background
- the user can decide whether to keep the "portrait", create a new one, share it on a social network, or send it by e-mail.
