MEILI MSA

The MEILI MSA application is an open mobile application used in testing methods for applying Metropolitan Area Statistics (SWM) in the Metropolitan Area of ​​Bandung or the Bandung Basin. This application is used as a material for verification and compilation of the commuter algorithm model that is applied to Mobile Positioning Data (MPD). To strengthen the compilation of the commuter algorithm model, volunteers / respondents are needed who are willing to verify their movement data. The verification process is also called the annotation process and is carried out during the observation period through the MEILI MSA application system.
The MEILI MSA application requires a location sensor and an internet connection to record travel data (including distance, travel time, and type of transportation mode used). During the observation period, volunteers / respondents need to actively verify or annotate their trips through the MEILI MSA application regularly. The verified travel data will be the basis for compiling and improving the commuter algorithm in the Metropolitan Area.
