The Telkom Education Foundation (YPT) with the distribution of educational institutions under it, ranging from primary and secondary education institutions (lemdikdasmen) and higher education institutions (lemdikti), has a passion for digital transformation implemented in schools and campuses. is under the auspices of the YPT.
Digital transformation becomes a program in realizing the YPT's vision to become a quality and international standard educational foundation. The digital transformation framework is adopted by YPT in all educational institutions starting from increasing digital competence for all academicians, providing facilities and supporting digital technology to optimize the business processes run by each institution.
The use of digital technology will transform the services provided by educational institutions to customers (students, parents / students, government, industry and other related parties). The output of digital transformation creates a competitive advantage for schools and campuses.
YPT directs all basic education institutions starting from PAUD / TK, SD, SMP and SMA / SMK to become DigiSchool and all lemdikti to become competent DigiCampus and provide a competitive advantage for all academicians.
The concept of DigiSchool and DigiCampus was held with infrastructure preparation in the form of integrated on-campus and inter-campus networks, we call it an integrated manageable simplistic campus network, as well as a data center to run all information system services used. On top of this infrastructure, it continues to be developed and implemented gradually towards the three Digi points which include Smart Apps & Information System, Smart Building and Smart Learning.
The first digi point, namely the Smart Apps & Information System, was developed in-house development using an integrated information system framework, iGracias. For lemdikdasmen iGracias for Telkom Schools has been implemented to support business and administrative processes throughout the school. Meanwhile, for Lemdikti, iGracias for Telkom Campuses has been implemented and utilized which covers almost all higher education business processes, starting from academic information systems, non-academic information systems and all supporting applications.
iGracias is a one-gate portal system that uses single account and single sign-on technology, each user only has one account to access all applications and only one login can use all applications according to their rights.
The second digi point, namely Smart Building, is developed by combining energy management technology for automation and efficient use of electric power, surveillance systems for monitoring the learning process in class, attendance systems as attendance records for students / students and teachers / lecturers during the learning process, integrated digital signage with an attendance system so that at certain points the status of the teaching and learning process can be seen, and also the command center which is the center for controlling local networks and the Internet in the school / campus area.
