This application is in the form of a Confucius Religious Education Book and Budi Pekerti for VIII grade junior high schools compiled based on the 2013 Curriculum. This book focuses on shaping students' character towards a noble person (Junzi). Through this book students are expected to become teenagers who have noble character and noble personality. Able to think critically, creatively, and innovatively based on the strength of belief in God's power and greatness. In this era of life, there are so many of us found in the surrounding community and from the mass media, cases of hopelessness among adolescents who end up lazy to go to school to consume drugs and other negative actions. It is inseparable from the character of individuals who are weak, and is not equipped with faith or strong life guidelines on him.
How to deal with this? As religious people, the scriptures that guide life, regardless of the religion embraced by the individual. Every religion must have a holy book that can be used as a guide for its adherents. Confucius adolescents need to explore moral and ethical teachings taught by the Prophet Kongzi. Not just read but also applied in everyday life. Practicing the scriptures as well as possible, listening to phenomena and development in adolescence, caution and sincerity are very important to note. The flow of information that is so easily obtained both positive and negative, makes us as teenagers need to equip themselves with strong faith so that the self is able to sort and choose well.
