Radio Cultural Identidad was established through the creation of the Provincial Public Company Radio Cultural Identidad EP and in October 2012 the H. Provincial Government of Tungurahua approved the ordinance published in Official Registry No. 807 on October 10, 2012. Within its powers , the activities that the Constitution, the International Agreements, Laws and Regulations of the Republic of Ecuador refer to in social communication are included.
Its organic nature is made up of a Board of Directors, chaired by the Provincial Prefecture, directed by a manager, with administrative and control units, its operation will be governed by the laws of Public Companies, Communication and others relevant to the national public sector.
