Who we are?
GetPensia is an impact created thanks to the collaboration between the Student Union and students in Israel and a group of professionals from various fields, with a shared background of helping the community and identified a real market failure and deep area of pension savings in Israel. GetPensia voluntary venture began in 2014, after its architects decided that "do something" to change the distortion in the pension market in Israel, with an emphasis on management fees and create a consumer right.
Why we got up?
We understand that most citizens of retirement savings are not party, do not understand the pension reports that come in the mail, and most of all - do not want to understand more complex topic and this gray, but prefer to run away from it.
We understand Scsborhim messing retired, most employees pay much higher management teams unionized workers, or workers with a high awareness of the issue and are fighting to download their management fees.
We understand that more than 60% of retirement savings in Israel pay the maximum management fee charged by the insurance companies to the same unimpeded, simply because the majority are not aware of any management fee.
what are we doing?
Following these insights, we decided to establish a large purchase as much as possible to achieve low management fees, such as that achieve big companies. In mid-2015, after the initial television exposure significantly increased number of those joining us, and there was a need to increase our commitment to the project was voluntary until then. "Student Union and students in Israel" decided to join us and enabled us to raise the connection work force to develop a unique and simple transition to our pension portability internet.
