‘Mokporang Nubigo’ is an application for revitalizing Mokpo tourism by the (foundation) Mokpo Cultural Foundation, which was selected in the 2020-2023 regional tourism promotion organization DMO project. As one of the four major tourism base cities, Mokpo leads ESG tourism such as Zero Waste and Net Zero, and promotes various tourism projects such as one-week living and Mokpo tour trekking as continuous projects every year. As a project to inform domestic and foreign tourists of Mokpo with infinite charm, the Mokporang Nubigo app provides points accumulation function through eco-friendly activities, discount coupons for cafes in the old downtown area, trekking map, pedometer, and various food and entertainment of Mokpo. It is designed to be seen and felt intuitively.
◆ Point accumulation contents
Points are accumulated by using eco-friendly certified company discount coupons provided as a map in the app and by photographing QR codes, and points are accumulated through in-app pedometers once a day (10,000 steps) and surveys
◆ Mokpo tourism trekking course contents
Activate location information in the ‘Romantic Mokpo Nubigo’ app and provide Mokpo tourism trekking courses through Kakao API-based maps.
◆ Optional permission information
Location information: Necessary for using ‘Mokporang’ contents and trekking course
Camera permission: Required for QR code shooting and discount coupon use
GPS Permission: Required when using the pedometer
