Under the collaborative project of UNDP and Ministry of Rural Development, GIS-Enabled Entitlement Tracking (GEET) i.e. GEET Enumerator Application has been developed to help in creating awareness among the rural communities about various social protection schemes while allowing administrators to track and review their outreach and response.
GEET is a technological platform that help connecting community with their entitlements under various schemes of both central and state governments. By uploading basic information such as state, age, gender, marital status, disability, caste and economic benchmark age, GEET informs the beneficiaries about their eligibility for different schemes and where and how to apply to avail the scheme benefits. A person can also look for schemes by using the advanced search option and further customising his/her search criteria.The System builds awareness on entitlements for marginalised communities, ensure access to benefits under government schemes, track eligibility at household level and visually represent the entitlements information on a GIS-enabled dashboard that can be accessed by officials to record information and monitor progress. The Government Department responsible for implementation of can actually configure the welfare schemes and map the beneficiaries. This makes the entire process both transparent and efficient.
