Popular "USHA" brand Refined Sunflower Oil and Refined Groundnut Oil is manufactured and marketed by the Firm BSP Refineries at 292, Suramangalam Main Road, Salem - 636 009. The Company was started by the Promoter Sri. B.S. PERUMAL CHETTIAR with the help of hi sons Mr. B. P. PURUSHOTHAMAN & Mr .B.P. UDAYAKUMAR,M.A in the year 1983. Sri B.S. Perumal Chettiar alongwith his father Late K. SOMASUNDARAM CHETTIAR erected and commissioned a Vegetable Oil Refining Plant as a joint family concern Viz., LSP Refineries in the year 1962.
