WHAT IS AYAMBIL
================
Ayambil (Ayambila) is special type of fast in that one eats only boiled grains that too once in a day.
Ayambil food do not contain any spices, oil, ghee, curd, milk, or green/raw vegetables, fruits and sugar
and its products to the boiled grains.
Upvas is the complete abstinence of food while Ayambil is one meal of food but which is bland.
Upvas is no food, while Ayambil is no taste.
Upvas is thus a method of ‘suppression’ of the mind while Ayambil is an aradhna to ‘conquer’ the mind.

PERFORMING AYAMBIL TAP

Ayambil Tap is performed in three categories.
Each suggests varying degrees of commitment, but all are understood to aim at the shared goal of well-being of the soul and body.
Tap differ primarily in terms of their length:
1) a single Ayambil - can be done throughout year - any day
2) the Navpad Oli, which is a series of nine consecutive nine-day Ayambil O?is performed during the spring and autumn Ayambil Oli festivals.
This results in 81 days of ayambil fasting over four and a half years.
3) Vardhaman Tap Ayambil Oli:
HEALTH BENEFITS OF AYAMBIL

Ayambil tap is a science. It goes back to the time of Lord Rushabhadev. Beyond the purpose of attaining the Atma (Self), it is tremendously beneficial
to the body as well. It serves to keep the body healthy.
It is wonderful for detoxification and cleansing, rests and balances the digestive system, the elimination of sugar controls diabetes,
refraining from ghee and oil improves cholesterol related ailments; heart and cardiac, elimination of salt lowers blood pressure,
improves kidney functioning, no dairy product improves sinusitis and respiratory diseases.
Ayambil has also been known to improve skin health and cure skin diseases like vitiligo.

App aims to give some background information on ayambil tap, as per Jainism.
Also there are various ayambil shala across India, where one go to practice the Ayambil (one meal)
Usually most of Ayambil Shala operates from 10 am to 1.30 pm daily. But at times, person can't reach on time,
this app will enable him/her to Aymabil Shala that he/she will be late and Ayambil shala can try to keep some spare food.
This app wil also help Sanghs to get estimation of how many Aymabil tapasvi will come. App will allow someone to select the Sangh (Ayambil Shala)
and register his plan to do ayambil in regular time ( till 1.30 pm) or after 1.30 pm.
There are more features are planned and will be added over a period of time.
