System Clock Monitor checks the time difference of the device system clock and notifies the user when the internal system time exceeds an configurable warning threshold.
For this purpose, it regularly queries freely selectable time sources. In addition to NTP servers, it also can use HTTP resources to retrieve the current time in guest networks with restricted Internet access, if necessary.
The automatic synchronization with the system time is a privilege at the system level and is not possible without special system rights. This app therefore only serves to monitor the correct system time if the built-in operating system feature does not work as expected for various reasons (e.g. if the mobile provider does not support NITZ or if the Internet access only allows HTTP).
