Mi Primer Pediatra

I am the father of a 4-year-old girl who has taught me to see pediatrics in a different way, I know very closely the fears and insecurities of a father, that is why my purpose is to help you face them in a close, human and respectful. I have 10 years of experience as a pediatrician in emergency services, therefore I know the main reasons for consultation of children and how to solve them. My professional practice is based on a high academic level since I have a training as a master's degree in epidemiology, a competence that allows me to be updated and helps me make medical decisions based on the best available scientific evidence, in addition to my teaching activity at universities such as the Universidad de Antioquia and Universidad San Martín. Two years ago he started the project known as My First Pediatrician, a project that has allowed me to accompany many newborns and their families with an approach based on respectful parenting and support for breastfeeding.
