The Agricultural College, Mahanandi was established on 18 August 1991in the premises of Regional Agricultural Research Station, (Cotton Research Station) with Dr. A. Satyanarayana Reddy Associate Director of Research as the founder principal. Later, it was shifted to the present campus of M.C.Farm, Mahanandi on 9th Feburary 1996. Since then the college progressed in all aspects, acquired the required infrastructure facilities and completed 25 years in the service of agricultural education
