In order to protect and promote the well-being of people in our society, their development as active members of the context in which they act and move every day, developing their respective talents, was born the new project of "SOCIAL NETWORK" involving the territorial district of Ravenna, Cervia and Russi. Direct beneficiaries of the project are all people with disabilities, of all kinds, and their families.
An active citizenship and community welfare project that aims to involve all local associations.
In the coming months, a large container will be created within which a map of the opportunities that our territory is able to offer to people with disabilities and their families will be available, who daily look for a network to rely on in civil society. A network, in fact, that is not activated only in need, because the community is not only in emergency, but must be cultivated thanks to relationships, exchanges, meetings.
We are collecting everything that the numerous associations of the territory are committed to do every day, their projects and the activities carried out. Everything is made available daily to the disabled and their families.
Thanks to this a new APP will be born, an application to be installed in every smartphone to allow users to find what they are looking for, the service they would like, the place, the activity they need that day, that week, that month and above all who manages it.
The «SOCIAL NETWORK» APP will promote the activities of online associations, helping families to better organize their schedules, agendas and the well-being of everyday life. In a word, to not feel alone, but to feel on the net, being part of a community, in the management of a disabled person and of the discomfort that often brings with it such a situation.
The "SOCIAL NETWORK" is a project financed by the Emilia-Romagna Region, coordinated by Per i altri - Service Center for Volunteering in Ravenna, and is born in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Ravenna, Associazione Marinando Ravenna, Italian Association of Down People , For a Effective Solidarity, AGEBO Assistance to Parents and Hospitalized Children, Italian Sports Center - Committee of Ravenna, Forum of the Third Sector. Leading the project is the Letizia Volunteer Association.
