This app was developed by prof. Antonio Guida, music teacher in the Italian lower secondary school, to offer users (teachers and pupils) a complete and functional platform for teaching/learning music at school. The "Didactics" menu, which is the one that opens when the application is started, allows access to the following submenus: "Utilities and methods" containing utilities, teaching materials and tools, exercises, books to download, study methods, tutorials, video lessons and much more; "Music theory", with video lessons and educational games on the elements of music theory foreseen for the three-year period of lower secondary school; "Organology", in which there are video lessons on musical instruments, human voices and works by great composers of history that help to understand the potential of the various instruments; "History of music", with video lessons divided by topics and/or periods ranging from the origins of music to the post-war musical neo-avant-gardes. All the video lessons were created by Antonio Guida with a language accessible to secondary school students and allow the full application of the "Flipped Classroom" method. Finally, there is the "Materials for SEN" submenu, with contents relating to utilities, materials and teaching tools, highly readable downloadable and printable sheet music, exercises and lessons in music theory, organology and history of music selected by Antonio Guida of accessibility for pupils, in fact, with special educational needs (SEN) of the lower secondary school.
In addition to the didactic section, it is possible to learn about Antonio Guida's activity as a pianist, composer and educator by browsing the other menus: "About me", "Critics", "Works" and "Events".
Furthermore, the app is equipped with an internal chat service, accessible via the balloon icon at the bottom right, but it is possible to get in touch with prof. It also guides through the appropriate “Contact” menu.
