TRIANUTRI is a free application, developed by the Nutrition Committee of the Brazilian Society of Nephrology. It is a practical instrument, based on a scientifically validated questionnaire. The objective is to identify MALNUTRITION RISK of people with chronic kidney disease.
THE RISK OF MALNUTRITION contributes to a worsening of the clinical condition and a greater chance of hospitalization. People identified with MALNUTRITION RISK should be referred as soon as possible to specialist nephrology professionals: nutritionist and physician.
Every person with chronic kidney disease can, and should, register for the monthly assessment. The questionnaire can be completed by the patient himself or by his guardians, caregivers or health professionals who assist him.
