The distance and social isolation imposed by combating the proliferation of the new Coronavirus and COVID-19 caused us to change several aspects of our routine. When we talk about Education, the main change was the transition from face-to-face education to distance learning (DE) or remote classes, concepts that have their similarities and differences.
In this quarantine period, so that children and young people have the least possible impact on their school development and the school timetable is not compromised, it was inevitable to bring classroom teaching into the homes of students - including through guidance and standardization of the Ministry of Education.
And for this continuity of face-to-face activities to take place in virtual environments, the adoption of various technologies has been essential, allowing students to communicate, interact and evaluate, even though they are away from school.
Thus, the Municipal Education Secretariat of Abel Figueiredo provided EDUCAF, a remote teaching platform, for students in the municipal school system.
