TPI Interactive Periodic Table is a free Android application that incorporates various tools to help you understand and discover the periodic table. When opened, it shows the complete periodic table. The table has a long format approved by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC).
- By clicking on any item, it provides zoom information that is constantly updated.
- Most elements have an image.
- For more information, there are direct links to Wikipedia for each item.
- Allows you to sort the items in several categories:
• Alkaline earth metals
• Other nonmetals
• Alkaline metals
• Halogens
• Transition metals
• Noble gases
• Semiconductors
• Lanthanides
• Metalloids
• Actinides.
In addition, videos and explanatory lessons for each element of the table are available in the Periodic Videos section. Just click on any item to learn more about each one.
The TPI Interactive Periodic Table application also incorporates detailed data on each element of the table, constantly updated such as: melting point, boiling point, valences, mass, among other properties.
It is even available to download the Periodic Table of the Elements Associated with Geology. It is a simple and innovative table where each element has the shape of its respective crystalline system. It also has several developments related to earth sciences such as: illustrative images that show where the element can be found naturally on our planet, geochemical classification and different types of relevance characterizations (radioactivity, synthetics, alloys, major elements in bark and mantle). Also, different tools of great use were included in the area such as the well-known Bowen series, categorizations of compatible and incompatible elements, typical cases of the Piper diagram and Stiff diagrams.
