The Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente is here to stay. The professional soccer team of La Frontera has a rich history full of memorable anecdotes that today establish it as a benchmark in Aztec soccer.

The Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente was founded in 2007 and four years later, the Pre-Hispanic Dogs were placed in the honor circuit of soccer in Mexico with the Promotion to the First Division in 2011. Jorge Alberto Hank Inzunza, President, and Gog Murguía, Vice President, spearhead the plan to keep Tijuana as a First Division city for a long time.

Since its inception, the Club Tijuana project has been laying solid foundations. Proof of this was the creation of the Basic Forces and the construction of the Caliente Stadium, since in its beginnings the CREA Sports Unit of Tijuana was the battlefield of our Red and Black Warriors.

Today, the Xoloitzcuintle Territory maintains its growth and the youth divisions of Xoloitzcuintles have an encouraging panorama with the participation in National Under 13, Under 15, Under 17 and Under 20 Tournaments, as well as the Third Division contest. The youth teams of Club Tijuana also have international contact and the participation of the youth Xoloitzcuintles in the Future Champions Tournament in Belo Horizonte, Brazil 2011, and the tour carried out in Argentina that same year are part of the filming with which the Xoloitzcuintles are prepared from the future.

The opening of the Xoloitzcuintles Initiation Center has been significant for Club Tijuana. Currently, the enrollment of students in the Children's Soccer School of the Tijuana Club has more than 500 registered students, a situation that motivated the opening of new schools on the border, as well as in the municipalities of Rosarito, Ensenada, as well as Chula Vista. and Temecula, already in the territory of California.

Another of the pillars of the project at Club Tijuana is the National School of Technical Directors, Campus Xoloitzcuintles, which has generated a good number of new coaches, who also have the opportunity to earn their place in Mexican professional soccer.

Our story began on Sunday. We were at the Marte R. Gómez Stadium in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, fulfilling our first game against the Correcaminos of the UAT. January 14, 2007 was marked on the first page of our book, which tells a story full of successes and memories that are present in our Institution.

With the Technical Director Víctor Rangel in charge, the Xoloitzcuinltes began their path in professional football. Nine years later, the squad of the Northern Border has managed to generate important roots for the City of Tijuana.

Four years have passed since the creation of the Rojinegro team when the desire to reach the First Division was fulfilled, and it was on the fifth anniversary that the Xoloitzcuintles gave Tijuana its first championship in the highest Aztec football circuit.

The illusion of playing in the Copa Libertadores, as well as the CONCACAF Champions League, was fulfilled in 2013. The Xoloitzcuintles exhibited great soccer at an international level and left their mark with the mentality of stepping on those grounds again.

On this ninth anniversary, Club Tijuana will seek to give joy to its fans. With the arrival of Miguel Herrera to the Rojinegro bench, a new era began for the team from La Frontera, and the intention to become champions again is present.
