It did not give back the whole VAT I paid, and in addition it automatically deducted a small fee from my credit card I input for the refund before giving any warning. Is it normal? Did I just miss any messages? But I wasn't given any option not to use this app tho.

easiest VAT refund ever! Fantastic to just fill out info before you leave then take a photo of your items when you get home. Only issue i had was not being able to figure out how delete or change a file I had uploaded so be really sure what you are uploading is what you need. My flight was canceled after boarding and I had to be rebooked. it was confusing how to enter that. But other than that the process was easy and fast and getting my refund was within days of submission even over a holiday!
