The WSB mobile application is the only official mobile application of the Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The application is intended for both candidates and students of the university. The main purpose of the application is to present users with information content such as: news from the life of the university, articles on the organization of the academic year, messages for candidates and students, schedule for individual years, fields and groups. In addition, the application is also equipped with a dictionary of Polish sign language, which supports the functioning of deaf people and ensures the appropriate level of accessibility of the university.
As part of the application, the candidate or student may use the following modules:
Articles - here the user has the opportunity to read the content presented by the university authorities. As part of the Articles, the application includes, among others, News, Announcements for candidates and students and any other information related to the organization of the university's work and events. The articles are divided into categories that make it easier to navigate through this module.
Sign language dictionary - here, both the student and the candidate have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with basic phrases and words in Polish sign language. Each phrase or word is presented as a video. In addition, the module is equipped with a search engine, thanks to which the user can easily search for the phrase he is interested in. The sign language dictionary module can be used both for learning and communication between the hearing person and the deaf person. The dictionary contains words, phrases and phrases that can potentially be used in the context of dealing with university affairs - all of them have been divided into the categories "University", "Dean's office", "At classes", "At the library".
Class schedule - here the student has the opportunity to check the current timetable. Thanks to the synchronization with the base document of the timetable, the data is updated on a regular basis, therefore the timetable will always be up-to-date. The timetable is displayed in the form of a calendar with the dates and times of classes for the appropriate year, field and group group marked in it. In addition, the plan includes information about the planned subject and the name of the lecturer.
The application also has the ability to receive messages sent by universities - this functionality will be used in the case of very important messages and sudden changes in the timetable.
