The App gives access to the pilot service “Smart Axistance – Diabetes Control”, aimed at providing telemedicine services for chronic diabetes patients. The service is currently in a test phase and is available only to diabetic patients in the urban area of Prato.
Through the App, the user can:
◾ Read the results of measurements of glycemia and weight, performed through smart diagnostic medical devices provided to the user at the time of service subscription;
◾ Store measurement results in a private cloud area;
◾ Consult the measurement track report, accessing useful and straightforward statistical data, with the possibility of sharing such information with the relevant caregivers (e.g., relatives, doctors);
◾ Receive alerts in case of anomalous measurement results;
◾ Interact with the qualified medical personnel of a healthcare center, with general practitioners and diabetes specialists available 24/7 to provide support for an optimal management of the chronicity. In this way, the User can set up, anywhere and at any time, telephone consultations or real televisits, using the front camera of the smartphone.
