Designed by Patrizio Tressoldi, Ares favors the relationship between numbers and the representation of their quantitative value on a horizontal line, the so-called number line, through targeted training. These trainings include exercises to favor the relationship between numbers and quantities also in arithmetic calculation (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
In particular, Ares presents 3 types of exercises:
- Find the position on the line of a number
- Write the number corresponding to a position on the line
-Find the position on the line of the result of a calculation
There are several help tools (notch pen, ruler, etc.) and the exercises are presented in self-adaptive logic on the size of the lines and on the methods of help. For each class there are different objectives.
