Alatha Onlus is a social cooperative active since 1995 to make life easier for everyone through projects, activities and services aimed at the inclusion of people with reduced or impaired mobility. The ALATHA TRANSPORT AND ASSISTANCE service, the only one active in Italy since 1995, is the heart of all the social activities of the cooperative. It consists of a PERSONALIZED service to accompany people with disabilities or problems of autonomy, the elderly or those with temporary mobility difficulties, FROM HOME TO THE REQUESTED DESTINATION, with the possibility of requesting a wheelchair or other portable aids on loan, as well as BARRIER OVERCOMING intervention The ALATHA TRANSPORT AND ASSISTANCE service, the only one in Italy active since 1995, is the heart of all the social activities of the cooperative. The person can choose where to go at any time, evening, holidays, to work, to the theater, to a medical examination, to the airport, to eat a pizza or to spend the holidays with the family.
The service is carried out by PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS, with CARS and MINIBUS equipped with lifting platform, non-slip floor, guides for the blocking of wheelchairs and seats in accordance with EEC.
