The Diocesan Library "S. Tommaso d'Aquino "was created by the Bishop Pietro Paolo De Medici from the union of the funds of the Library of the Episcopal Seminary of Piedimonte Matese, dating back to 1696, and of the Library of the Institute of Religious Sciences, (merger occurred in 1990) and develops as an integral part of the activity of the Institute of Religious Sciences recognized by the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Southern Italy.
