It was 1976 when Vittoria Esposito opened her pizzeria in Ostia. Dedication, quality of raw materials and a lot of passion are immediately the ingredients that distinguish the pizzas of the Esposito family to the point of becoming a real institution on the Roman coast.
Today Alessandro carries on the family tradition and continues the work of his father Romolo, uncle Luigi and grandmother Vittoria, renewing the offer and ensuring the usual high quality.
He chooses the raw materials based on the season and their availability on the market, he uses the flours of the past, welcoming the example and simplicity that have characterized the family's experience. It is renewed by transforming L'altra Romolo, a restaurant of only 90 square meters, into an appreciated kingdom of good food, with home deliveries, take-away, lunches and dinners, open every day.
In June 2017, Alessandro Esposito together with Carlo Magni (known on the coast for L'aperitivo del Merendero), opens in the center of his beloved Ostia, the old pizzeria taken over by the Gruppo family: a new challenge to be pursued with enthusiasm and passion.
