The "Rally Prealpi Orobiche", which the Automobile Club Bergamo is about to "put on the road" for the thirty-fourth edition, is renewed but in the name of continuity.
Several interesting news that the staff of the organizing body, headed by the President Valerio Bettoni and the Director Giuseppe Pianura, proposes for this year starting from the date, the weekend of June 29th and 30th when the season, by summer already started, it will make it possible to make the most of the length of the days and the particularly favorable climate.
The Albino location was confirmed where the Bergamo rally has now established its headquarters, with some variations. The Race Direction will always be hosted on the premises of Acerbis Italia, while the sports checks will be held at the Auditorium of Albino, as well as the briefing with the Race Director. Even the technical checks will change location and will be held in Piazza Pio La Torre, always in that of Albino. The shakedown to be held in the Altino area is confirmed.
But the most awaited and relevant news concerns the route, and in particular the special stages, and the duration of the race which will be over two days. Eight special stages for a total of over 62 kilometers and a total length exceeding 350 kilometers. The race will start, from Piazza Libertà in the center of Albino, Saturday 29 June at 3.31 pm to face the first two timed sections that see the "Rally Prealpi Orobiche" return to the Imagna valley to dispute the test called "Bedulita" of 7 , 45 kilometers. The two passages will be interspersed with a reorganization in the center of San Pellegrino, as already happened in other editions of the orobic competition.
