INITIATIVE FINANCED BY EAFRD PSR PUGLIA 2014-2020 - UNDER MEASURE 1.2 "SUPPORT FOR DEMONSTRATIVE ACTIVITIES AND INFORMATION ACTIONS - CUP B95F19001070009
The information project "The diversification and quality of products: information activities for Apulian farms" presented by the LAG Ponte Lama and approved by the Puglia Region with DDS n. 103 of 23 May 2019 aims to increase the skills and knowledge of the Apulian agricultural operators on the quality of agri-food products and experimental cultivation systems with low environmental impact, through a series of information-intensive information initiatives that will illustrate, in particular to young people agricultural entrepreneurs, experiences and innovative production methods capable of improving competitiveness and profitability, as well as promoting the environmental sustainability of farms.
The activities of the information project therefore foresee the realization of different types of information initiatives with the aim of achieving the following objectives:
encourage sustainable and innovative processes and techniques for restructuring and modernizing agricultural businesses in order to increase their competitiveness and profitability;
encourage the introduction of sustainable and innovative production processes capable of contrasting the degeneration of crops, reducing consumption, helping to restore ecosystems and keeping them stable in the future
The information initiatives will be characterized by the intervention of companies that bring innovation, in order to increase the technical and managerial knowledge of the participants.
For this purpose, specific information initiatives will be organized, in which, with the aim of reaching an ever wider audience of Apulian operators, technological support tools will be used to also allow remote information (direct streaming, Apps, social media, etc.).
The initiatives will be publicized in the course of implementation.
