The Technical Reference Centers for beekeeping were established in 2010, to open a new national strategy of technical support to the beekeeping sector through the promotion of innovative and unambiguous practices and activities of information, dissemination and technical assistance to operators in the supply chain.
More than 10 years after the establishment of the CRTs, the Ministry, in application of specific directives of the Italian Parliament, has deemed it necessary to support the CRTs again in order to re-establish a technical assistance system capable of dealing with old and new difficulties.
Osservatorio Nazionale Miele has adopted a particularly high-performance platform for the re-foundation of the system for processing and usability of data and information which constitute a unique heritage of knowledge to support the sector.
