A handy app that reminds us quickly how to recycle and when to dispose of waste in the Municipality of Lacco Ameno.
The objective of the project carried out in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Naples is twofold, on the one hand to encourage young people to the culture of recycling and reuse of simple materials and at the same time preserve the ancient tradition of the Neapolitan crib of the eighteenth century. The reproduction of an ancient village with the rediscovery of the
typical characters of the Neapolitan crib: from Benino to the vintner, from the fisherman to the gypsy, like places: from the tavern to the well, from the market to the river, all depicting a picture of Naples in the eighteenth century but above all of the spirit of the Neapolitans that characterizes them today again.
So not only the preservation of "religious" traditions but also the social and cultural matrix that makes Naples a unique city in the world.
To help the boys in this work will be Pisani Francesco, Son of Giuseppe, Master carver and restorer of wooden works of art, with a workshop near Piazza Mercato in Naples, famous for the making of lion's paw feet. Francesco has collaborated for years with his father, assimilating, in addition to the secrets of the trade, above all the passion for the Neapolitan Nativity of the eighteenth century, a passion to which he is mainly dedicated as a pensioner. He has already worked with the Pro Loco showing his qualities as a craftsman with the live preparation of canes of canes.
