Pecetto Torinese is a small town of about 4000 inhabitants dotted with fields where the green will fill with the white of the flowers in April, to turn into tasty red fruits in May and June. The spectacle of flowering and the tasting of the famous cherries will make you want to return to the country of cherries.
Pecetto awaits you in June with the Cherry Festival of Pecetto, (born in 1916).
In Pecetto it is possible to visit as well as numerous farms and eat excellent food, the church, the tower and the small church of San Sebastiano. which opens to visitors on the first Sunday afternoon of the month. Where it is possible to admire frescoes and statues, including an original Madonna of the milk and four episodes of the legend of the miracle of Santo Domingo de la Calzada. The small church of San Sebastiano dates back to the early 1200s and was restored in the 1400s.
