The Foundation Credito Bergamasco presents a selection of masterpieces - from the fourteenth to the twentieth century - the art collection of the Banco Popular.
Masterpieces of the collection are a Banco Popolare Italian story. The history of many credit institutions which, in the course of the twentieth century, have collected works of art, not forgetting their origin. The territory native of Banks is the same that gave birth to the events of artists specimens, rooted in that same territory.
There are absolute masterpieces, only masterpieces related. With this statement we return to Italian history, multiplied in its magnificent, infinite steeples. Even the history of art is a regional history and has adapted to particular events emerged from the sinuous civilizations particular that produced it.
