The Civic Museum of Canneto sull'Oglio is set up in the imposing late nineteenth century building of the former schools, in exposed brick, overlooking Piazza Gramsci.
Inaugurated in September 1994, it houses the Giulio Superti Furga toy collection and the Ecomuseo delle Valli Oglio Chiese.
Each of these collections, however, was already active before the foundation of the Museum itself: the Ecomuseo delle Valli Oglio Chiese, for example, was born around the seventies of the last century - thanks to the assiduous and willing work of the Ecological Museum Association Oglio Chiese - and, after having known numerous temporary installations, he was finally able to find his definitive location within the Civic Museum, becoming a fundamental point of reference for the rediscovery and preservation of the culture of the territory affected by the two rivers.
The Giulio Superti Furga toy collection was born, in modest dimensions, in 1984: housed in a small room in the Town Hall, over the years it has been enriched with numerous pieces thanks to significant donations or loans.
