The app allows you to promote their learning strategies of mobile learning, enabling young users to use a learning environment for their "natural", going beyond the limits of time and space that characterize formal learning.
This mode of study also addresses important educational aims by inducing autonomy in the management of the study; at the same time the organization of the modules is designed to suggest learning strategies that promote awareness. Whenever it is possible the application provides immediate feedback that allow self-assessment; in cases where the type of activity (in-house production of oral and written texts) does not allow that there is a personal support even unskilled, as community workers, guardians, or other volunteers with which students are related, if the application is used in non-formal settings, teachers in the event that is being used in classroom settings, or, finally, a custom remote support by specially trained personnel.
In addition to the feedback in the pipeline, which provide information to the student on the progress of his learning path and the experimenters on the data of each of the input operation, materials are provided for the description of the input competence and for final checks of each module. They will give information on the achievement of skills relevant to the student himself and to the teachers who have to evaluate.
Currently the use of the app is limited to participants in the study: Migrating project (www.studiaremigrando.it), and the access to the app requires login and password that is provided by the National Research Council.
