The official application of the Carnival of Putignano gives a special point of view, allowing you to experience one of the oldest and most colorful carnival events in the world, right from the inside.
"The Earth seen from the Carnival" is the theme of the 626th edition which will see the 7 allegorical floats made by the papier-mâché masters parade through the city streets. To deepen their history, their realization, their curiosities and the message underlying these moving points of interest, will be possible through cards, photos and descriptions that can be consulted as they pass through the fashion shows.
Through geolocation, in fact, the Carnival of Putignano app warns with a notification when you are near a point of interest, allowing you to deepen it through cards and photos. It is also a useful tool for obtaining logistical information on the location of car parks, public toilets, entrance gates.
The application provides the navigable map with the tour of the floats, curiosities, information on the foundation, on the history of the Carnival and much more.
Next to the papier-mache masters, the masks of character, the artists and the professionals of the show, also visitors and citizens will be an integral part of the large and welcoming collective party of the Carnival of Putignano, expression of creativity and goliardia, satire and irony, culture and tradition.
