With this application, the owners of forest lands in the State of Jalisco can georeference their properties, using the GPS of their mobile phone, and obtain an estimate of the carbon stored in the soil, in the superficial biomass and the CO2e absorption potential. The application uses the Canopy Cover Density index, derived from Sentinel 2 satellite images, to estimate the remaining forest area of a property, and makes carbon calculations only on the actual forest area, since the covers used in the analysis are carried out using mathematical models of data obtained in previous years, it is necessary that the calculation be made on the current forest area of the property analyzed. In a complementary way, with the objective of having biodiversity criteria to evaluate the property, a fragmentation analysis is carried out, resulting in a table of degree of connectivity, and several geomorphometric indices are generated, such as slope and orientation, which will be useful in actions of conservation and restoration.
