Sodoku may actually be a learning method that allows you to practice "learning" and "imitating" in such a simple, clear and effective way.

How did reading come into being? I will leave that point to other literature, but let's say that this was effective.
The basic flow is to read anyway, that is, to implement "sou reading". Sometimes we all read aloud together, called “saidoku” (single reading).
Then, when you can chant smoothly to some extent, you can start explaining the meaning. If this is the other way around, it is only when I hear a lecture that I am thankful for that I think I understand it and forget it the next day. I don't think it was established by theory, but by nature. "Learning" itself is something to be grateful for, and it is a very natural and rational idea to say that "knowing" and "being able to read" the text is the minimum attitude for those who receive it. . The ideal attitude and attitude towards "learning" are also implicitly conveyed, and I even think that is the essence of it. (I will omit it because it is long, but modern people are very blessed, but to what extent is this essential point passed on from whom?)

"Reading 100 times, I understand myself"
By reading it hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of times, you will be able to review the content in your head at any time, and you will have a foundation to think about its meaning and concept.
Skim reading may seem like a roundabout way at first, but in the end it may be the fastest way to explore concepts in depth.

There is a reason why classics have been loved by many people as classics. Beautiful writing, good tempo, skillful logical development throughout, and so on.
It would be a waste not to learn the classics that our predecessors have "sifted" through hundreds or thousands of years.
It is a pleasure to come across wonderful writings, not limited to classics.

Also, as it is said in English learning, it is good to read anyway. It seems that.

Taken together, it seems that reading can be said to be a learning that cultivates "senses". In other words, in grand terms, it can be said to be the enhancement of human ability to fully use the five senses and let the body remember and permeate. It can be said that cultivating the balance of the mind and body, that is, the senses, leads to everything else, whether it is advancing to academics or sports.

Well, scientifically speaking, there are various benefits of reading, but let's skip the difficult things and read a good sentence cheerfully!

[Features of the app]
・First, select the content (learning material). We plan to expand the teaching materials centering on the classics.
・On the reading screen, there is a function to read the material as a model.
*The concept has finally been revised since ver.1.2.0! Since TTS (Text To Speech) has been changed to an audio file playback method, there is no difference in how to read aloud depending on the terminal or version!
* However, if the audio file cannot be obtained, the text-to-speech function (TTS) of the smartphone will be used, so please understand that there may be some parts where the pronunciation is strange or difficult to hear. (Although we check if the reading is correct when adding new text, the reading method may change due to smartphone version upgrades and may not be correct.)
・Listen to the reading, or try reading aloud along with it.
・Images of teaching materials are displayed to create a terakoya-like atmosphere. (It can also be used for learning calligraphy and old characters (kuzushiji, ancient documents).)
・It makes me deeply moved to think that the terakoya students (terako) at that time were learning to read and write with these teaching materials.
