The Nakamachi Magistrate's Office was newly established to relax the Kitamachi and Minamimachi Magistrate's Offices.
"Ooka Shimei" takes up his post as a novice magistrate there.
Shimei's childhood friend, "Rimu Hiraga".
"Toyama Sakura" dispatched from Kitamachi magistrate's office as a watchman.
And a lot of friends who come together.
Immediately after arriving there, a girl "Kawai Koume" was taken to the magistrate's office.
Koume was destined to be tried tomorrow on suspicion of the incident that caused a commotion in the town of Ouka.
Considering Koume's charges, her death penalty is inevitable.
However, Shimei is convinced that Koume is not the culprit because of the suspicious aspects of the incident and the way Koume desperately clings to him.
