● Learning mode
To enter learning mode, select with the learning radio button.
The buttons at the bottom are reset button, previous button, automatic next check box, and next button.
The basic operation is to look at the meaning of the compound words, select the Chinese characters in order from the Chinese character list grid, and complete the four-character compound word grid.
Tips are also provided to help you learn.
・ Hint 1 The reading of the idiom is displayed. You can specify show / hide with the read check box.
・ Hint 2 You can display (1 to 4) of the composition of the four-character compound word grid. The number to be displayed is specified by the hint radio button.
Which part is displayed changes. The default is 0, and all 4 characters are not displayed.
These specifications will continue until the next switch.
The kanji selected in the kanji list grid is filled from the beginning of the four-character compound word grid. When you're wrong,
× is displayed, and if it is correct, 〇 is displayed. If it is ×, repeat the selection until it becomes 〇.
When everything is filled in correctly, press the Next button to move to the next phrase. If you go to the last idiom, you will return to the beginning. You can also return to the previous phrase with the previous button.
If you specify the next check box automatically, you can move to the next without pressing the next button. You can continue even if you interrupt it in the middle. You can see how much you have learned with the count counter.
If you press the reset button, the order of appearance of the four-character idioms will change, and the count counter will be 1.
Use radio button 4 to display all four-character idioms,
You can also use it to learn the meaning of idioms by hiding the meaning check box.
● Test mode
To enter test mode, select with the test radio button at the top.
The order of the buttons at the bottom changes only to the start button.
Press the start button to start the test.
The operation procedure is the same as in the learning mode, but the next question is automatically transferred.
After answering 10 questions, the test score will be displayed.
The scoring is a deduction method, and the standard is
・ If you display the reading of the compound word, 3 points will be deducted.
・ If you display one Chinese character with a hint, one point will be deducted.
・ If you display two Chinese characters with a hint, you will be deducted two points.
・ If you display 3 Chinese characters with hints, 3 points will be deducted.
・ If you display 4 Chinese characters with hints, 10 points will be deducted.
・ If the answer is x, 1 point will be deducted for each item, but it will not be less than 0 points.
If you want to continue the test, press the start button.
If you want to interrupt the test, select the learning radio button. You can continue learning before the test.
